Never Use XML Sitemaps

I usually illustrate the problem with Google sitemaps by comparing with this situation: Let’s say that you are so afraid to feel pain that you start your day with a little bowl of aspirin with milk. You couldin theorybe walking around with a boil on the bum without noticing it. That is not healthy.

This is the same with Google sitemaps. Using one can give you serious problems with the link structure on your website, and you may not know about it. I will clarify this further, in order for it to make sense: Imagine you have a website without Google sitemaps; it has been running for a couple of years and is performing fine in the search engines. Now you have created a new page on the website, but cannot get it to rank in the search engines. It turns out that Googlebot hasn’t found it, which only means that Googlebot cannot follow the link you’ve made to the page from your menu, or wherever you made it.

Then you understand the problem, and known problems can be solved. You figure out what you have done wrong, correct it and then it is taken care of. The new page that you just added to your website will automatically be added to your Google sitemap if you have a one connected to your website; this mean that Googlebot find the page through Google sitemap, and then crawl, index and rank it. But probably not very well, because the page will look like a “Pharisee” in the eye of Google, since there are no links (which Google can locate) to the page from the rest of your website. A website like Concept-i has no XML sitemap e.g.

The only thing is that you will never detect the problem, just like with the boil on the bum. My advice is that you should only use Google sitemap if you are absolutely certain that your internal link structure is infallible; if you are certain of this, then there is no reason to use Google sitemap. This is yet another great advice from the best SEO Book in the market.

3DTV Are You Getting It

As being reported according to the College of Optometrists, a sizable portion of the population will be unable to see the full effects of 3DTV in action. Due to problems with their binocular vision, 56% of people between the ages of 18 and 38 will have their viewing experience limited in some way. Conditions such as amblyopia and strabismus, which affect about 5% of the population, make 3D viewing impossible. It is possible that, with training or surgery to correct these conditions, those affected would be able to take full advantage of all that 3D has to offer.

Some viewers of 3D images may experience the symptoms of motion sickness and thus have problems viewing 3DTV.studies say visual motion hypersensitivity is reported to lead to dizziness during 2D programming, and also nausia and stress when looking at 3D programs.

Since todays 3D technology is still being pioneered its story will not be written overnight. Judgments on the adoption of a revolutionary technology like 3DTV provided by Dish Network and others can only come years after it has hit the market. While HDTV has been accessible for at least seven years, it still has yet to record half the sales. 3DTV is benefiting from its new technology by being included on pretty much every TV recently manufactured, but the real truth about it will be revealed by how multi-channel providers respond to this new technology. If there isn’t enough bandwidth, then there is no reason to believe that television providers will give up precious space that could be used for HD.

Most providers will be reluctant to give up HD, which is still a key selling point and revenue stream, to satisfy a small number of customers. In the initial period, the selection of channels will be limited, however it will give companies a chance to eliminate any technical glitches in the early stages. The leading network in HD was ESPN, so they will obviously also be in the front row again in 3D. Time will tell if it will prove to be as profitable as HD. Consumers should just take solace in the fact that there won’t be a format war this time around.

How to Have a Great Time with Little Effort

For some reason, young girls love to dress up. I had a friend who had 6 boys, then eventually gave birth to one girl. This daughter seemed to instinctively understand how to dress pretty, carry a handbag and play more feminine then her brothers; things she didn’t learn anywhere, she just knew it made her feel good about herself. If you have a little girl, why not throw her a ballerina party that she will always remember. It is so easy to do, and will make a continuing impression that she will daydream about for months. Like any party, themed party gear like cups, plates, and napkins will make a great effect, but the decisive factor will be a ballerina uniform, complete with Danskin tights and a tutu. Anything with ruffles and frills will serve to compliment the attire that will pursue her imagination like few things can. This really should be a girls’ only party, but if the boys want to imitate Baryshnikov, include them. By calling in a few parents who are also open for a little fun, having them dress up for a few hours in tutus and frills could be a lot more fun than you would have believed. Memories will pile up as you and your little girl dance around in costume, pretending to be somebody they never knew. Add a good dancing movie to the collection, and make sure you can give them enough room. Finger food is also appropriate at a time like this. Nothing that will make a mess as little girls would rarely do that ~ ~ ~ At least not while in costume. Like any dress up party, the outfit makes the girl- so a little effort goes a long way. Food, fun, and ballerina outfits are sure to fill up a day that will last forever.

Pension Reform - How the State Alterations to Pension Regulations Might Affect You

On 6 April two thousand and ten, various modifications were introduced by the Department for work & pensions aimed at assisting adult females, carers and low earners in retirement, only it was not good news for every person.

One of the most profound changes is the enhanced min. age for drawing a retirement pension. From Sixth April, the minimum pension age was increased to age 55, hitting more than 4 million individuals who were born between Six April 1955 & fifth April nineteen sixty who will unfortunately have to hold back for up to 5 yrs to obtain their retirement pension.

The state pension age for women also started to rise from 6 April until it reaches 65 in 2020. By 2026, it is set to increase to sixty six for every person, until it in the end reaches sixty eight in two thousand and forty six.

Other changes include a reduction in the Nat’l Ins (NI) contributions necessary to qualify for the full basic state pension, which increased from £95.25 a wk to £97.65 a wk from the 6th April. Men and women will in the future need to accumulate up just thirty years of contributions, which the government forecasts will set aside for an additional 40,000 women who reach pension age in the next tax year to provide entitlement for the maximum state pension.

The state second pension will also be affected by the changes and now payments within the upper earnings threshold have been reduced from twenty per cent to 10 percent. At some point, this will be moved to a flat rate payment rather than an earnings-related pension, and will continue to be connected to inflation, not salary.
A new credits scheme supersedes the Home Responsibilities Protection (HRP) scheme, which is designed to serve parents and carers to qualify for the state pension. From the 6 April, valid yrs can now be made up through weekly credits. These can then be added on to any paid contributions made when at work, with no limit on the credits awarded, as long as the qualifying rules are met.

For those reaching government pension age after this alteration takes effect, each complete year of HRP, up to a maximum of 22 years, will be converted into qualifying years for the basic state pension.

Update Your Cv

resume

If you take a little effort in the setting of one’s curriculum vitae, you should have a much higher odds of being called for any career interview.

Before you send yours out, follow this words of wisdom make certain you are sending out the ideal top quality manifestation of yourself.

  1. Ampersands - Ampersands (&) do not belong on a resume. There are a few exceptions. One exception is a well-known company name (AT&T). Another exception is well-known industry terms (P&L).
New Job

Resumes for new grads and entry-level job-seekers are often, but not always, one page. Most college career-placement centers tell students to limit their resumes to one page, notes cv writer sharon pierce-williams, 75 percent of whose business is writing for the college population. Indeed, if there is one group that should strive for a one-page job application, it is college students and new graduates. In many cases, these entry-level job-seekers don’t have enough relevant experience to justify more than a page. Some new grads do, however, have lots of relevant internship, summer-job, extracurricular, leadership, and sports experience that justifies a two-page curriculum vitae. Pierce-williams takes an unusual approach to new-grad resumes. “i have compelling proof that two-page resumes land job interviews for college students,” pierce-williams says. “length depends on extra-curricular involvement and leadership. It takes a certain ‘go-getter’-type student for a two-page job application.

Want to Branch out and Try Some of the World’s More Exotic Cuisines and Dishes? Specialty Cookware Is Vital

The staples of any western diet can be made with everyday cookware found in almost any kitchen. Every now and again, though, we want to branch out and try some of the world’s more exotic cuisines and dishes. Sometimes this requires a speciality piece of cookware. Let us take a look at a few of them.

Speaking of rice-based dishes, and while we’re on in Europe, Let’s head west across the Mediterranean and get some paella. Spain’s signature dish is all the more festive when made with a good paella pan, which makes a great centrepiece to large gatherings. Scanpan, De Buyer, Paella World and All-Clad all make paella pans that’ll give your cookware collection a great international boost. You need to know that, if you’re interested in mastering paella, a good paella pan is a must. The mark of a successful dish is the crust that forms at the bottom of the pan and this is not going to happen if you don’t have the paella pan’s wide surface area that allows rapid evaporation.

The French are famous for their cuisine, so it’ll come as no surprise that they have a few pieces of cookware that are equally well known. Crepe pans, French ovens and terrines will give your repertoire a decidedly Continental edge. The last item is used for making pté, that delicately rich dish that says elegant hors d’oeuvre like no other. Le Creuset and Le Chasseur make extraordinarily high quality cast iron cookware including French ovens and terrines. Scanpan and Jamie Oliver produce crepe pans that’ll do the trick just fine. While we are in France we might as well mention sauté pansa vital piece for any budding chef. Le Creuset, Le Chasseur, Scanpan, GreenPan and Staub are just a few brands that offer excellent saute pans.

Woks are amongst the most used pieces of cookware in the kitchen. Although commonly used for stir-frys, woks are also used to steam, braise and make soup. A good quality wok that heats well is required when cooking such dishes. That
